Report Speech

Reported Speech (ou indirect speech) é quando precisamos declarar algo


que alguém falou, sem reproduzir exatamente as mesmas palavras.

Ex.
I'll be back in two hours. (direct speech)
He (She) said that he (she) would be back in two hours.
(indirect speech)

Em regra geral, estas conversões sofrem mudanças quandto às expressões de tempo (tempos verbais), uma vez que as respostas dos discursos diretos (reported speech) devem estar no passado.
